Some years ago, I went to a department store in the area looking to buy a dress for my wife. As I was perusing the inventory, I found the cutest jumper that was yellow with sun flowers. I just loved it and I thought that my wife would love it also. It had only one small problem, or at least that is what I thought. It came with a white shirt that was not appropriate for my wife and I was sure that she would feel the same way.
So I told the sales lady with unbridled enthusiasm how much I wanted to buy this jumper but I was hoping that we could trade the shirt out or do something. She basically told me that my only option was to buy the outfit as is or not. I was almost sure that when she had seen how badly I wanted to buy this jumper that she would say things like, “Wow, I can see that you really want this for your wife so let me see what I can do.” Or at the very least, “I will seek out a manager to see if we can trade the shirt out.” But I got nothing.
I was willing to buy the whole outfit and just find another shirt and trade them out myself, but after being treated with such disregard, I decided that not only was I not going to buy the outfit, I would never shop in that store again. Which I never did.
I hope that is an experience that you never have at Wasatch Peaks Credit Union. I understand that good service, real service is simply doing for others that which we don’t have to do for ourself! Whenever we have a delighted member, it is because we have had an employee do something for the member that they did not have to do. Our Mission is to “Exceed your Expectations.” Hold us to that
