Sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, Corporations, For Profit, Non-Profit, Limited Liability Companies (LLC), and Association/Organization Accounts can enjoy the benefits that will deliver business solutions today and into the future.

• Sole Proprietorship

  For a person with exclusive business ownership. Requires a Social Security Number a Federal Tax Identification Number, State Registration and a Business License.

• Partnership

  – For two or more people contractually associated in a business venture. Requires a Federal Tax Identification Number and Partnership Agreement. Limited partnership agreements are typically required to be filed with the governing state.

• Corporation (For-profit)

  – For a business owned by stockholders. Requires a Federal Tax Identification Number, Articles of Incorporation filed with the governing state, state registration, and a Business License.

• Corporation (Non-profit)

  – For an official non-profit corporation. Requires a Federal Tax Identification Number, Articles of Incorporation filed with the governing state, state registration, and a Business License.

• Limited Liability Company (LLC)

  – For a business owned by members. Requires a Federal Tax Identification Number, Articles of Organization filed with the governing state, state registration, and a Business License.

• Small Association/Organizational

  – For associations, clubs, religious, charitable, and educational entities. Requires a Federal Tax Identification Number or Social Security Number.

• How is the interest earned on my Business Certificate calculated?

  The Interest on our business CDs is calculated daily, with dividends paid out monthly.

• How do I withdraw money from my Wasatch Peaks Business Certificate account?

  Our Flex Certificate accounts are automatically renewed at the end of each term, but funds can be withdrawn during the first three business days of every quarter (January/April/July/October). Money in our Dedicated Saver accounts is available without an early withdrawal penalty at the maturity date  (3-60 months) of your specific certificate.

• Can I make additional transfers to my Wasatch Peaks Business Certificate account?

  Yes! Deposits of up to $100,000 are allowed anytime into Flex Certificate accounts. One manual transfer of up to $10,000 is permitted into our Dedicated Saver Certificate accounts. 

• Can I use direct deposit with a Dedicated Saver Certificate?

  Yes, the Dedicated Saver Certificate is designed for convenience, requiring either automatic transfers or payroll deductions to help you save consistently.

• Do I have to be a member to open this account? Does every authorized user have to be a member?

  Yes, you need to be a member to open a Business Certificate account. The account holder must be eligible to join Wasatch Peaks Credit Union, and your business must operate in Weber, Davis, or Morgan Counties in northern Utah.
