Wasatch Peaks Credit Union was honored with the Samuel H. Barker Legacy Award by Ogden-Weber Technical College (OTECH) in recognition of its $2 million contribution to support students.
The investment will bring to life the Wasatch Peaks Pathway Building on the OTECH campus. The building is designed to reduce waitlists, accelerate training and serve thousands of students preparing to launch their careers.
At Wasatch Peaks, we believe education has the power to change lives and build stronger communities,” said Jeff Shaw, President/CEO of Wasatch Peaks Credit Union. “Our investment in this new building reflects our commitment to the future workforce and to supporting a vibrant and prosperous community for everyone.”
The new building will serve as a centralized location for student services and be a welcoming landmark at the college’s main entrance from Washington Boulevard. Wasatch Peaks will include a high-tech mini branch with the building to offer students convenient access to financial services and education tailored to their needs.
The award reflects a partnership built on trust and shared commitment to the future. Wasatch Peaks is proud to stand alongside its neighbors and help open doors for local students to achieve their dreams.
