The Wasatch Peaks Foundation is proud to invest over $12,000 to support the renovation of the Bone Cabin Outpost Education Building at Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park.

The donation helped to create a more welcoming, accessible and interactive space where local children, families, students and school groups can come together to explore paleontology through hands-on educational experiences.

“Investing in educational opportunities is one of the most meaningful ways we can support our community,” said Darren Moore, Vice President of Information Technology at Wasatch Peaks Credit Union, who also serves on the Dinosaur Park’s Board of Directors. “It’s exciting to support a project that will make such a lasting difference for children and families in our community.”

For more than 30 years, Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park has inspired curiosity and discovery through exhibits, an outdoor sculpture trail and educational programming.

Inspired by the historic Bone Cabin Quarry in Wyoming, the renovated outpost will strengthen the park’s role as a year-round community resource with improved spaces for field trips, camps and public programs.

Following the recent ribbon cutting, Wasatch Peaks is honored to see this investment already supporting a space designed to expand STEM learning opportunities, bring people together and deepen community engagement.

The Wasatch Peaks Foundation is proud to partner in projects that create meaningful, lasting impact, and this donation reflects its commitment to supporting organizations that inspire learning, connection and a stronger sense of community throughout Utah.
