The Wasatch Peaks Foundation, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) awarded $209,000 to nine organizations across northern Utah.
The grant awards will be used by the recipients to continue their impactful work in the community. The awards highlight the transformative power of nonprofits working together to improve education, mental health and other vital services that benefit families, children, and individuals throughout the region.

The recipient organizations include:
- Box Elder School District Foundation: $12,500 grant to support the development of teen resource centers across the district.
- Boys and Girls Clubs of Weber-Davis: $8,750 grant to address youth food insecurity in the Weber and Davis County communities.
- Ogden's George Eccles Dinosaur Park: $12,500 grant towards enhancing the Bone Cabin Education Center.
- Ogden School Foundation: $55,250 grant to provide critical resources and support students across the Ogden School District.
- Ogden-Weber Technical College Foundation: $12,500 to support students pursuing their professional certifications and licenses.
- Trails Foundation of Northern Utah: $37,500 grant towards the development of a new trailhead on 27th Street in Ogden.
- United Way of Northern Utah: $12,500 grant to strengthen and expand its 211 service.
- Weber Human Services Foundation: $7,500 grant to expand its mental health insurance gap program.
- Weber School Foundation: $50,000 grant towards the development of the district's teen resource centers.
The Wasatch Peaks Foundation and FHLB Des Moines' collaboration with local nonprofits demonstrates the power of partnerships in tackling community challenges and building a stronger, more resilient northern Utah.
